The Vancouver Humane Society does not operate an animal shelter. We focus on the underlying problems of animal suffering and assist in positive and practical change.
Because of our emergency animal assistance program providing emergency medical help for animals in desperate need, and our extensive networking, we often come across situations where animals need homes.
We are a member of a network of organizations, some of which offer animals for adoption. You can view the directory to find organizations that meet a set of minimum ethical guidelines to participate in the network. Thank you for adopting!
