Ask General Motors Canada to stop sponsoring the deadly chuckwagon race

Last year, six horses died in the Calgary Stampede’s infamous chuckwagon race. More than 70 horses have died in the race since 1986. Yet General Motors Canada remains the chief sponsor of the event, which is officially called the “GMC Rangeland Derby”.

GM Canada is also a key sponsor of the World Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA). Horses have died in several WPCA races in Western Canada.

It’s vital to let GM Canada know that Canadians have turned against the chuckwagon race and want an end to the tragic deaths of horses it causes nearly every year.

Please lend your voice to our campaign by sending a message directly to GM Canada.
