This year’s Run for the Animals Scotiabank Charity Challenge event has gone virtual!
This means that anyone can take part in our fundraising efforts this summer by walking or running a 5K or half marathon to raise money to help us end animal exploitation. And as this is a virtual event, you don’t need to be based in Vancouver to take part!
How it works
We’re asking our supporters to run a 5k or half marathon at any time during the month of July. You can run the full distance at once or break it into smaller increments over several days.
You’ll need to track your run using a GPS app such as Runkeeper and then upload your running stats to Sportstats.ca.
Registering for the event is really easy. We ask each participant to commit to raising as much money as possible, to help us reach our team target of $25,000!

What you’ll receive
You’ll receive regular updates from the team with fun ways to fundraise, as well as all of the details you need for your personal race day. Each participant will receive a Scotiabank Vancouver Half Marathon & 5K t-shirt and a medal. There will also be prizes for the highest fundraisers!
Can’t take part in this year’s race? You can still donate to our team! Click here to make a donation to a member of the VHS team!
